Custom Wear Direct – Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 14 October 2026
1. About Us
These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases made through Custom Wear Direct (“we”, “us” or “our”). By placing an order through our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
If you have any questions, please contact us using the contact details provided on our website.
2. Products and Services
Custom Wear Direct supplies workwear, personalised clothing, printed garments, embroidered clothing, uniforms and other branded apparel.
We aim to ensure all product descriptions, images, colours and specifications are accurate. However, colours may vary slightly between screens and physical products, and minor variations may occur between batches of garments or printing and embroidery processes.
Product availability is subject to stock levels and supplier availability.
3. Placing an Order
When placing an order, you are responsible for ensuring that all details are correct, including product selection, sizes, quantities, colours, personalisation, artwork and delivery information.
For customised orders, we may provide a proof or design for your approval before production begins. It is your responsibility to check and approve the proof carefully, including spelling, logos, colours, positioning and sizing.
Once production has commenced following approval, changes or cancellations may not be possible without additional costs.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where there is a genuine reason, including product unavailability, pricing errors or artwork that we are not legally able to reproduce. If we cancel an order after payment, we will refund any amount due.
4. Customised Products and Artwork
Customers must ensure they have the necessary permission to use any logos, trademarks, images, designs or other materials supplied to us for personalisation.
By submitting artwork, you confirm that you own the relevant rights or have permission to use it. You agree not to submit material that infringes another party’s intellectual property rights or is unlawful.
We reserve the right to refuse artwork where there are reasonable concerns about its legality or suitability.
We are not responsible for errors in customer-supplied artwork or designs that have been approved by the customer, provided the products are produced in accordance with the approved proof.
5. Prices and Payment
All prices will be displayed on our website or confirmed in a quotation before an order is placed.
Any applicable taxes, delivery charges and additional costs will be communicated before you complete your purchase.
Payment must be made using the payment methods available at checkout, unless alternative payment terms have been agreed in writing.
For bespoke or bulk orders, a deposit or full payment may be required before production begins. Any agreed payment terms will be confirmed before the order is accepted.
6. Delivery
We aim to deliver orders within the estimated timeframe provided at checkout or confirmed in writing.
Delivery times are estimates unless a specific delivery date has been expressly agreed. Delays may occasionally occur due to supplier availability, production requirements, courier issues or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If a delay occurs, we will endeavour to keep you informed.
Delivery charges and available delivery options will be displayed at checkout or confirmed in your quotation.
Unless otherwise agreed, goods will be delivered to the address provided when placing the order.
Your statutory rights regarding delivery remain unaffected.
7. Returns, Cancellations and Refunds
We want our customers to be satisfied with their purchases. If you believe your order is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible with your order details and, where appropriate, photographs.
We will assess the issue and explain the available options in accordance with your legal rights.
Personalised and customised products: Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised may be exempt from the usual 14-day cancellation right that applies to many online purchases. This does not remove your rights if the goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise fail to meet legal requirements.
Non-personalised products: If you purchase standard, non-personalised goods online as a consumer, you may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods, subject to applicable exceptions and conditions.
Where a cancellation or refund is legally due, we will process it in accordance with the applicable requirements.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes any consumer rights that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
8. Faulty or Incorrect Orders
Please inspect your order upon receipt and notify us promptly if you identify any problems.
Where products are faulty, damaged in transit, incorrect or not as described, we will work with you to resolve the issue in accordance with your statutory rights.
We may request photographs, order information or the return of affected goods where reasonably necessary to investigate the issue.
9. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate order information, checking sizes and specifications, and ensuring that any artwork submitted is suitable for production.
For business and bulk orders, we recommend checking the garment size guide and confirming quantities before approving production.
We cannot guarantee that every garment will fit every individual in the same way, as sizing may vary between brands and styles. This does not affect your legal rights where goods are faulty or not as described.
10. Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, images, graphics, text and designs owned by Custom Wear Direct remain our intellectual property unless otherwise stated.
Customers retain responsibility for ensuring they have permission to use any third-party logos, designs or trademarks submitted for production.
We will use customer-supplied artwork for the purpose of fulfilling the relevant order and associated services.
11. Limitation of Liability
We will fulfil our obligations with reasonable care and skill and in accordance with applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Where legally permitted, we will not be liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the relevant contract was formed.
If you purchase products for business purposes, any additional limitations of liability must be agreed in writing and will apply only to the extent permitted by law.
12. Privacy and Data Protection
We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Information supplied when placing an order may be used to process payments, fulfil orders, arrange delivery, provide customer support and meet our legal obligations.
We may share relevant information with service providers, such as payment processors, delivery companies and suppliers, where necessary to fulfil your order or operate our business.
For further details about how we collect, use, store and protect personal information, please read our separate Privacy Policy.
13. Complaints and Customer Support
If you have a question, concern or complaint about an order, please contact us using the contact details provided on our website.
We will aim to respond as promptly as reasonably possible and work with you to reach a fair resolution.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our business, services or legal requirements.
The version applicable to your order will be the version in force when your order is accepted, unless a change is required by law or otherwise agreed with you.
15. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, where applicable. If you are a consumer, you may also benefit from mandatory legal protections available in the country where you live.
